We had another good day. We were able to see the underground cistern in Istanbul before we needed to head to the airport for our flight to Rome.
We had some moments of humor: 5 of our team got into a 4 person elevator, and it got stuck. The 4 person limit was not about volume but about weight, as we learned from experience. With the van leaving for the airport in 10 minutes, we said a prayer and rang the call alarm. The staff had us out in a few minutes, and all was ok. We all look askance at elevators now, and are using the stairs more.
We had a good flight to Rome, and will start filming in the morning.
